Blanket of grey clouds,
the cold and frosty winds blow.
Oh sun! please peep out.

Let it rain
The clouds are saturated unable to hold water in them
I hear thunder and see lightening too
Yes, but I pray that after the rain, the sun god will make an appearance!

Good afternoon Kiran. Rainbows are always a pleasant welcome 🙂

Sometimes a bright warm smile is like sunlight on a cloudy day?
Oh yes, absolutely!!
The Sun at times plays the peeping Tom…especially in Monsoons…
That’s precisely why I sent out an invite to him…..To grace us with his presence on a cold and gloomy morning 😉
So is it raining there, Radhika? It is so true that when it is so dark and cloudy, how badly we wish that a little ray of light peeks out from those big gray clouds! Good one, Radhika!
It isn’t raining here. But when it does, one sure welcomes the sunshine with open arms 😊
A decent request.. nice one.. 🙂
Thank you Prakash!
The poor sun struggling hard….well written radhi
Haha, yes wish the clouds give him little space to peep out! Thanks Akhila 🙂
Very nicely written Radhika!
I couldn’t help but smile as I read this because people in my side of the world are probably chanting the same mantra. Not me though, I have a fondness for cloudy days 🙂
It’s nice to know that the cold doesn’t dampen your spirits. But this must be a prayer of many there. Thanks dear!!
