I too used to play marbles aka GOTI as a young boy. It sure was great fun.

The blue whale is a horrendous game . At times I question our progress. Is it healthy? Or in the name of progress we are regressing🤔

Absolutely. I was only talking about the gadgets kids are hooked on, instead of playing marbles and the like
So you are not a mallu and i can’t send the item in malayalam

That’s my mom’s favorite too. I love to see the triumphant smile on her face when she is left with only one marble 😁😁

😀😀 I lost one or two marbles from the board so sometimes I was left with zero marbles and sometimes four 😂

We used to call it Goti in India. usually boys indulged in this outdoor play . I loved to collect these marbles though never enjoyed this game.
Now kids are glued to gadgets and dont have time for these little ones.

Exactly my point. The gadgets are completely dominating children’s time these days, which is really bad.

So true. If we gave a kid marbles today they’d likely think we’d lost ours! 🙂

My favorite time was the play time in the garden, park or simply in mud! And I honestly miss that.

Nice one Radhika…..and very true……well….it will be an uphill task for all of us to introduce the kids to outdoor plays and sports and other activities away from the gadgets…….and if it can’t be done the easy way, then awareness has to be inculcated to let them know the good and bad of the gadgets and softwares they use………………….
ok….i am now writing in my new self hosted blog http://www.mydailyjournalonline.com . Request for your kind visit and support……thanks..:)

So so true. What with even games and new applications being advertised in channels, kids are hooked to them. And with the increasing worry of their safety and lack of time, it is difficult for helpless parents to do anything about it too.

I feel at times, for every single step forward, we are taking ten steps backwards. Technology seems to be doing more harm to kids than good. I wish to go back to days of simple life.

Yes, with time the disadvantages outweigh the goodness that was once planned for. We need to strike the right balance and that is all that matters.
