Everyday musings ….Life as I see it…….my space, my reflections and thoughts !!

The world today….

In response to secretkeeper’s weekly writing  prompt #123.  The challenge is to use the 5 words below in a poem or fiction.  This is the first time I am trying a Nonet.

(Nonet (9 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1) progression downward of syllables)

SUN|BOOK|ACT|STAND|WAR

Terrorism-Word-Cloud

War and terror reign supreme today

barbarous acts tarnish life

books painted with violent blood

the sun stands a witness

to a shriveled world

consumed by hate,

I, me, mine

evicts

love!

Another new form for me! Writing within confined limits seem so challenging but you always come out with flying colors. Beautiful lines!
