WPC – I’d rather be…

I’d rather be a flower

not in competition with anyone,

to blossom at my own pace,

brightening life with my vibrant hues

as I unfurl my petals

diffusing a scented fragrance

bringing in smiles and happiness

hope, love and peace across

territories and relationships!

      1. We have bougainvillea too outside the fence in the corner of the house but since the maintenance crew trimmed it two years ago, it has stopped flowering.

  1. Absolutely, Radhika. Competition has become a part of our existence these days. It is a sad reality that sometimes we overlook life itself in our competitive race. This is a sure reminder for this race that is always racing against the clock, pushing limits with their competitive spirit. Loved the pictures too!

  2. Reminds me of this Hindi poem…
