Mundane moments
oscillating moods
unreasonable demand
met with disapproval
emotional outburst
flaring tempers
torrential downpour
raucous screams
failed reasoning
loud tirades
time out!
Oh! it’s such a challenge
to handle children’s tantrums!

Heartfelt poem and one that will resonate with many parents … almost a tirade itself with a cascade of tantrums behaviour!

Yes Annika. At times it is hard to imagine such adorable little ones throwing up such monstrous tantrums!

I wonder if parents start from day 1 to train their kids, would it make a difference to the temperament of the kids.

Probably, it might. But difficult to say!

Oh ask me, Radhika. I just packed off one to school after yet another tantrum. Its funny that it takes not a lot of screaming and shouting but a calm mind to handle them. Today, I kept my calm and the results were surprisingly calming too!
