In response to secretkeeper’s weekly writing prompt #139, to use the following five words or their synonyms in a poem/fiction.
Write|Never|Place|Mark|Place

She writes her memoirs
with the ink of her tears
that pour out odious feelings
on an emotionally tainted paper.
The dark side of his personality
adorns a nefarious cloak
his wounds scar her soul
leaving her heart broken.
Reeling under the shock of his callous behavior
the place holds painful memories
she makes a promise to her resilient spirit
to walk out, never to return.
Beautiful emotions depicted

Absolutely they should take that stand for themselves. Thanks Kate!

Easy to say but I’ve seen how low the women are and how controlling and violent the partner … escaping sounds good but doing so is a lot harder!

Yes that’s why they require to garner courage. Many a times they don’t have the support of their family too. So it’s quite hard for them.

Either family and friends don’t know, don’t believe or are too scared, it’s very difficult.

Very powerful, Radhika. I loved the lines ‘The dark side of his personality
adorns a nefarious cloak’. The words pain the darkness that reside inside him that has forced to move out.
