Everyday musings ….Life as I see it…….my space, my reflections and thoughts !!

Mankind!

mankind

ic:pixabay

Different strokes and colours

different cuisines and cultures

different religions and habits

different dresses and languages.

Yet people across the world

under the infinite sky,

feel the same emotions,

bask in the same sunshine,

share the same dreams,

experience the same love,

revel in the same moonlight,

sense the same fears,

shed the same tears,

enjoy the same laughter,

endure the same pain,

suffer the same hunger pangs,

join the same hands in prayer.

Mankind, bound by the heart

yet divided by boundaries!

Very true. Often I wonder is heightened nationalism restricting our thoughts and making us rigid?

The differences definitely adds to the beauty, but it’s the physical divide amongst countries that is creating the rift and tension between people. In the prestigious day, the feeling of universal brotherhood seems to be severely diluted Rita.

Yes, the truthness behind mankind. During my recent trip, the irrespective of the language, culture, cuisine etc. we all have a deep bond. If we are eager to see beyond our selfish behavior.

Wish people could understand this!! So that there are no wars!! ๐Ÿ˜“ and not just the real borders, we humans have tendency to form groups and start fighting over trivial things even if rest of the things are same. And sadly we see divisions in one family itself which has everything same โ€“ religion, culture, food, language, blood, etcโ€ฆbasically humans are at faultโ€ฆwho have this amazing ability to draw lines when none exists, form groups and start fighting ๐Ÿ™„

The ability to draw lines….. absolutely agree with you Sifar. So very typical of man today.
It pains a lot to see the perpetual divide amongst people under the guise of different names they give to it. Sometimes I feel universal brotherhood will be possible only in the dreams.

Yeah people are always dividedโ€ฆalways looking for separating things and then again further dividing that separate but monolithic looking part furtherโ€ฆitโ€™s like a vicious cycleโ€ฆuniversal brotherhood looks like a distant dream then since we cant even live in peace amongst ourselves onlyโ€ฆ
