The year 2080.  Our blue planet has turned arid and grey. All life forms perishing across the globe with most sources of water having dried up.

Mr. Sen, now a frail nonagenarian, stood sadly by the well, recalling his prophecy of a Third world war, battling it out for “Water”!

  2. Can absolutely visualize this coming true, Radhika and the picture says it all. What a dismal future for our children and theirs. With so much knowledge not a single person on this earth is doing anything to save water and our earth is drying up. Here in India we only know how to cut trees in order to make roads, buildings and nonsense but the rain giving trees we are randomly cutting. Crazy humans have we become.

    1. While people have become aware of their faulty ways, they are only a small percentage. It’s only when the masses become aware of where this will lead us, will we be able to make an impact. My only concern is that this realisation doesn’t come when it is too late.

  3. Water is getting less and less in all the sources each year! This year rain was less in mumbai even with almost no rain in aug and sep…as a result we already have a 10% water cut imposed…the ground water levels are going down…rivers over exploited…so concerning!
