Day 3 – Possessive love!

Continuing the Valentine Special series, each day of the month, I will highlight a different facet of love in the form of a haiku. Hope you stay with me throughout this journey with all your support and love.

Possessiveness in a relationship is the strong need to hold on to the person only for himself or herself.  Stemming from jealousy, selfishness and insecurity, a possessive person does not allow any kind of freedom to his/her partner in the relationship. This leads to constant distrust, threat and suffocation finally ends with break up or destruction in some cases.

  1. I agree with you and at the same time devil’s advocate in me wants to disagree with this..why not a little bit of possessiveness in true love, it’s again very humane nature to be possessive and there are people who gets actually depressed if their partner never expresses this possessiveness upon them
