Radhika, I love the photos and such a variety of shimmering images! The first one reminds me of school discos, the latter has me longing for the seaside! Water offers some of the best shimmering light as sunlight bounces off the surface! I’m intrigued about the city nightscape. Where is that? Looks so tranquil, but probably not so on the ground! Great response to the photo challenge and a beautiful haiku to accompany them ( I would expect no less!)

The picture of the night cityscape was taken atop from the Burj Khalifa at Dubai. You are right, about it looking tranquil from up there….but at ground level it is a steady stream of vehicles zipping by 😀
