The Letters!

In response to Kat’s twittering tale # 134, to write a tale in 280 letters or less on the given prompt.

They had celebrated their silver jubilee anniversary recently, and were an example of a perfect couple still in love.

Her recent death had left him shattered. While clearing her closet, he found a bundle of love letters.

Did he really know her, after all those years together?

        Haha…ok i have an open field! … so maybe her ex, or another boyfriend, or another husband, she is a spy, assassin, alien…oh so many possibilities!! 😵

    Grandma’s love letters. You won’t find a treasure trove of emails, lovingly tied with an old piece of string, or a cache of text messages kept for eternity in a battered file, nor WhatsApp exchanges carefully folded in a scented drawer. I know now, grandma, the pen is always mightier than the web.
