Can I? , Should I? Will I?

In life, at times you have an uninvited guest Mr. Doubt knock at the door popping up unannounced. It shakes your confidence leaving you doubting your abilities.

What do you do when such questions try to brake your step forward?

  1. Sometimes it is a struggle to find the voice of the heart, gut, instinct, intuition – God’s whisper….then what to do? The doubt is too strong and mind too crazy – swinging like a pendulum in duality from one option to the other? At least for me. Writing helps — just free writing – i set a timer and write “Right now….” and keep on writing about my doubts, my confusions – sometimes i address the letter to my soul, sometimes to God, sometimes just write — and after sometime a clarity awakens and either my mind gets still or the answer writes itself on the paper! Please try, if it appeals to you. It is easier than sitting and ruminating endlessly or even getting counsel from others. 🙂

    1. Wow! I had never thought of writing…. specially to the soul…..I am sure we can confide our innermost apprehensions, doubts and insecurities. Will surely try this out next time when I hear that knock. Am so glad this blogosphere if filled with such wonderful souls always willing to reach out and help. Thanks a ton for sharing this. I am sure it will help many to come out of this situation. Have a wonderful day Krishnapriya 💗

      1. Yes, we are so blessed to have each other! 🙂 For me just doing free writing helps — no looking at mistakes/editing or thinking carefully — just writing. Sometimes paper/pen and sometimes PC. Secrets of the Universe are hidden within! Wish you a beautiful day, dear Radhika. 💕

    1. Yes, intuition, instinct or the sixth sense, do tide us out many times. Only we need to tune ourselves to be able to hear that intuitive voice. Thanks Sakshi. Have a great day 💖

  2. Radhika, I’m sorry that this most unwelcome guest is at your door … a nuisance indeed! On such occasions I take a step back for a day or two and do something totally different! At first I felt guilty and weak for this action but realised that in allowing myself the space, Mr Doubt not only got bored and left but also I often found the solution to a writing issue that was bugging me or not quite right. Hope confidence and joy in writing reigns supreme for you soon. X

  3. When Mr. Doubt knocks at the door of my mind, I call upon the lord in my heart and Mr. Doubt disappears and confident decision led by lord comes in front. I move forward with a smile 😊

  4. As they say when in doubt ask a friend..but finding a true friend is really tough and subjective these days I guess the true friend is your own soul, so when in doubt we should sit down and listen closely to what the soul is trying to say.

  5. These Mr. doubt often arrives at our place and confuses our planning..
only thing that helps is our own decision that we took at the start to move forward..
For me even I am doubtful I remember only one fact that win or lose its my own decision and I am okay with it..
