    R – foeticide is a sacrilege, I agree, but abortion is sometimes necessary, isn’t it?

    Infanticide is a heinous crime and should be abolished. Abortion is a matter of choice and a woman’s right

      Nothing can be more gruesome than feticide. Sadly it is still quite prevalent in many parts of India.

    So sad! Illiteracy may be one of the reasons for such acts, and it may be eradicated when we reach at least 90% literacy in India.

      I hope so Megala. Also the want for a male heir to the family is very strong even amongst some of the educated people that they stoop down to committing this heinous crime.
