Twilight!

In response to Eugenia’s weekly prompt: Sapphire

Silhouette Photography of Trees and Birds

Home bound avian’s greet the eventide

before settling in their branched abode

sun gives a parting embrace to the sapphire horizon

painting hues of lavender swirls

the silhouettes amidst the ebony skyline

welcome the glitterati of stars

the shadows merge into the emerging monochrome

before the velvety darkness envelopes all.

    Too good.
I hope you are keeping print out of your poems. These creations are just out of the world. They are not just works of art.

They are Flashes of inspiration from the yonder cosmos.
    Proud of you.
    I take a bow.
