Twilight!

Transient horizon paints

Tender tales of eventide

Tangerine strokes blend with indigo

Tease the heaven’s dreamy allure

Tacit zephyr wafts an ethereal fragrance

Tranquil mysticism embraces the lilac peaks

Twilight showers a starry mist.

Thanks to Aashi, learnt a new style of poetry today, Pleiades.  It has only one word in the title followed by a seven line stanza. The first word of each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hope you enjoyed it!

  1. Ah, Pleiades. Literal meaning seven sisters. That’s the reason for seven lined stanza. Its a depiction to a star array containing 7 stars and that’s why the first letter in all stanza is same.
Amazing how literature took this concept into poetry.

Amazing expression of the concept amalgamated to the beauty of nature. Enjoyed reading it.

  2. Hey, R…not fair! Here I’m yet to get a hang of 3 or 4 types of poetry that you recently threw at me, and you bring up yet one more!? That too mastered! 😉😄
But frankly, you are a powerhouse and I get to learn something new every once a while. Keep it up! 👏🏻🙂
