Micro fiction – And the Suspense Continues…

The city woke up to a strange sight one morning. A yellow lopsided house, popped up in the middle of the park. The media and people thronged the site to witness this unusual structure.

Breaking News bombarded the channels worldwide. Though the house was dark, the windows and door closed, strange sounds could be heard from within. A wave of panic gripped the city.

β€œExperts from various fields have come in to assess and understand this bizarre structure.

 What is this? After Covid 19, now what is the world going to be gripped by?” Blared the news reporter into the camera.

    True and profound message, Radhika. We are all going to live in these micro houses and they are costing exorbitant prices which is not in the hands of the middle class but the rich only. Where are we going all madness in this world.

    Absolutely Narayan. News used to be so informative when we were young. Now it is only endless debates in raised voices, sensationalizing situations and presenting selective information on what sells and improves their TRPs!!
