As the final curtain drops…

Seasonal transition follows nature’s rhythm.

Once full of supple verdurousness

today, I mirror a dull ochre expression.

Diluted veins sap my strength,

I am blown away by the gust of wind,

my withered soul drifts away from home.

I twirl to the rhythmic breeze, explore faraway places,

at times crushed beneath the hurried feet.

I hold no grudges.

Graceful surrender and acceptance, fills me with peace.

Nature’s lullabies cajole me to deep slumber

 into mother earth’s welcoming bosom..

These such beautiful description of the changing season. There is so much to relate in the experience of the fall leaves, I have always contemplated relations and such. Your poem gives a very peaceful feeling and perspective of sweet surrender.

    1. I am so happy to see you back HS. Missed your lovely posts. Yes, sometimes life has some stressing priorities which take up all our time. I too have been busy of late, not posting very regularly.
Thanks HS. Hope you add some light with your presence here 😊❤️

  2. Wonderfully penned Radhika. You beautifully intertwined human expressions into nature’s transition and ended the poem gracefully with surrender and acceptance. As always brilliant Radhika.
