A beautiful poem, Radhika and what a beautiful collection of old pictures that have gone away from our world. I remember I learnt shorthand and typing on a similar typewriter.
Yes Kamal. Summer vacation was a time to hone up with these skills😊. Thanks a lot!
Yes so true. Most welcome Radhika 😊❤️❤️😊
Terrific post Radhika – loved the typewriter and sewing machine especially. You’re the only respondent who thought of old equipment, which is perfect!

Love the pics, and the haiku, Radhika. 💛 I actually have a typewriter like that, not quite as old though, in my office. A decorative piece. ☺️
Ah, yes these days typewriters have sadly become fond memories. Glad you liked the pictures and the haiku Jeff. Thank you so much 💙
Indeed. You’re most welcome, Radhika. Always. 💙
Beautifully penned, Radhika! ❤️
Thank you Eugenia ❤️
This is such a precious collection of pictures and your words bring back the emotion. I grew up with the sewing machine in every house around me. The typewriter was a sudden demise in time by the time I got to the age that I would need it – that is how I feel. Beautiful haiku too.
