Toxicity of relationships stifle me
tremors of raucous feelings erupt into an avalanche,
rustle the pages of thoughts,
scraping buried memories.
Torrents of unsaid words
trapped within the fortress of my heart flow.
Deluge of tears ink the blank paper
with whorls of pain.
Emotions that asphyxiated within
today,
taste freedom after a long battle of holding on!
I felt the pain, reading your poetry. Words cascade from your pen, all expressing rage, rancour, agony… Spellbinding!

Thank you Pragalbha. Women generally tend to hold on to a lot of emotions and pain. It is best to let them flow.
