2nd Anniversary!

I hit the publish button for the first time on this date exactly two years back for my first post, “Life lessons from Mom”. (It somehow got deleted down the line and I reposted it again on her birthday!). The thrill of receiving my first like, comment and follow is still fresh in my memory.

A melange of musings,

thrill of completing challenges,

fantasy in fictions,

passion for photography,

questions of the questioning mind,

sharing the bliss of nature’s beauty,

unravelling emotions in poetry….

my reflections have always been supported by you my dear friends, making my blogging experience so enriching.  Heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for sharing your warmth and love through your feedback, likes and follows. My endeavor to learn from all of you , in this path of a potpourri of words and verses will continue.

Anniversary Special!

Today my blog, radhikasreflection.wordpress.com has turned one! Exactly a year back, I embarked on this project to bring forward my thoughts to a greater audience. The journey so far has been very fulfilling. Learning is a continuous process. My endeavour to better myself as a writer will always continue. I am in awe of many of the talented writers among you. I have had the good fortune of reading some amazing literary pieces, poetry, fiction and a host of other amazing work. I feel elated at how much I have learnt from all of you! Being privy to myriad styles, infinite ideas and the amazing magic of words has helped me tremendously in the last year.

This a gratitude post for all the support and encouragement all my readers have bestowed on me. I thank each one of my followers and blogger friends for all the feedback you constantly give me.

 

The confluence of thoughts and ink

emanates from the heart

leaving footprints of my words.

Basking in the sunshine

of love and warmth

It always feels good to be conferred with an award :). But the greatest award for an amateur writer like me is, genuine feedback and encouragement from my readers. That’s exactly what keeps me motivated and helps me unleash my writing skills better. So fellow bloggers, would always appreciate your feedback on my posts.

 

 

Creating my own blog had been on my agenda in my “Bucket list” of things to do……..but somehow it did not take off for quite some time…….maybe I was just not so confident about myself doing it. I am blessed to have a loving family…….it’s only because of their constant encouragement that I decided to take the plunge. Now, I am glad that I did it, as I am  enjoying my swim with all of you, in the ocean of blogs. I thank my family for always being there for me, with all their love and support . ❤

I am just a novice in the blogosphere, so I don’t think I am the right person to give any advice to the new bloggers. I would just like to say that “ The beauty of a garden increases manifold only because of the diverse variety of flowers adorning it. Some are bright and colourful, some exquisite, some so delicate yet some others so fragrant. Similarly each of us have our own style of writing. Read, appreciate others work, learn and improvise. But let your writings be a reflection of you.”
