In response to Ryan’s photo of the week #43, Blue!
Across the various hues
of the cerulean spectrum
the calm aqua waters
the azure expansive yonder,
I hear the soft whispers of the blue
sing a divine halcyon melody !
In response to Ryan’s photo of the week #43, Blue!
Across the various hues
of the cerulean spectrum
the calm aqua waters
the azure expansive yonder,
I hear the soft whispers of the blue
sing a divine halcyon melody !
The shimmering velvety sea
relaxes under the gentle rays of the sun
wisps of clouds stray in the canopy of blue
the endless horizon lost in a reverie
listening to the tales of the zephyr
the fresh ocean scent lingers on
slumbering waves, in its sapphire robe
embrace the shore, kissing it
A panoramic vista of serenity
envelopes a sense of calm
opening the gateway to paradise!
In response to Whimsygizmo of Dverse poets prompt # 50 to write a Quadrille poem on the given word Murmur! The challenge is to pen a poem in exactly 44 words not including the title.
The brilliant turquoise blue expanse
shimmers through the jagged serrated peaks
icy winds hum a heavenly harmony
puffy clouds murmur , wafting daintily
a conversation in solitude, infuses a calm aura
the soul connects with the cosmic energy
drinking in the sweet essence of nirvana.
This time I am attempting a twin Sidlak, bringing out the opposites faces of the sea. Looking forward to your feedback.
#1
Slothful sea
echoes idling waves
ebbing gently on the shore
muted tides entrance the dreamy eyes
reflecting the blue expanse in a gentle harmony!
#2
Enraged sea
swollen with ire
thunderous rumbles lash out
monstrous waves building a crescendo
the grey sea sings a tempestuous opera !
