Conversations and more…

Wispy wanderers whisper

Coy crimson crushes,

Nimbus nail negotiations,

Stygian squabbled sopranos,

Pristine persona pacifies.

Ah, the myriad nuances of the

Cumulus celestial conversations

of clouds and its moods,

can only be appreciated

by a true nature lover!

Haiku – Better days ahead…

DSC06039

Monstrous gloom descends

anxiety engulfs life

pandemic looms large

gales of panic blow

amidst uncertain currents

cling steadfast to faith

sparkle of ray peeps

glorious sunshine embraces

global well being

Feeling low on hearing about so many positive cases around me. Trying to keep up a positive frame of mind, clinging on to hope, that things will improve and praying that this  pandemic will end. Soon the world will see a beautiful new dawn emerge behind the grey clouds of fear.

Stay safe and take care!

Romancing the Mountains!

Pristine clouds waft

at their own pace

dance with the winds

crooning careless whispers

The mighty Himalayas

sentries of the north citadel

rugged and macho, stand tall

their persona emits a majestic aura

Beneath a misty veil

a rendezvous at the peak

kisses moist with the icy breeze

they entwine in a flirtatious embrace

A dreamy passion lingers

the heaven rising affair

casts a mystic allure

inks an ethereal romance.

Insipid

set in monochrome

dull overcast canvas drifts

the breeze plays a melancholic tune

paints a gloomy grey picture!

New Beginnings…

The curtains unveil as the

majestic star makes a grand entry

The artistic amalgam of the

blushing crimson and the golden glow

paints a surreal picture

the gentle zephyr hums a celestial melody

awakens the mortals from their reverie

its radiant rays illuminates bright

quells the echoes of the dark mind,

ushers in an euphoria of a new day

showers blessings of hope,

with a promise to bury the sorrows of yesterday

and replace it with new beginnings.

Clouds in its moods!

A Picture Poetry!

Snowy white cumulus in the yonder

huddled together in deep conversations

Fringed with  ornate wispy curls

heralding the changing moods

Tenuously scattered in total disarray

indolent, yet blissful in gay abandon

Grey, broody, seething with ire

all set for the ambrosial fall

Blushing, crimson, amorously flirtatious

paints a passionate saga of love

Pristine, pure and serene persona

echoes a meditative harmony.

Himalayan Ecstasy

Sharing a few pictures of the Mighty Himalayas on our visit to the holy shrine of Badrinath, a few years back. The spectacular scenic beauty enroute and the positive vibrations at the temple rejuvenated the body and soul.

“The magnificent mountains of the Himalayas soared up to the heavens to kiss it, the clouds whispering and caressing its high peaks. Serrated and snow-capped, these gigantic mountains were a sight to behold. The eyes admiring the pristine beauty in awe, the heart soaking in the pure energy of the tranquil atmosphere and the mind experiencing the spiritual bliss.  The evening rays of the sun painting its peak to a golden blush. Standing in front of the majestic mountains felt like the eons of time stood still. ”
