Promising prelude
layers of colors celebrate
 infinite sky glows
Nascent rays glide down
spectacular dazzling show
the dance of the dawn

In response to Colleen’s weekly poetry challenge #71 for the prompt words Character and Affection with the condition to use only their synonyms.
A haiku triplet this time 🙂
Roses, gifts abound
celebrating love in style
happy valentines!
Spring brings in the warmth
 sanguine spirit envelopes
vibrant blossoms smile!
Her kind eyes showed hope
selfless devotion for all
universal saint!
In response to Colleen’s weekly poetry challenge Autumn & Leaves. But this time there is a twist. We are allowed only to use the synonyms of the prompt words. I’ve written a haiku and tanka this time.
Haiku
The crisp gust of fall
drifts the  blades from a rustle
to a twirling dance
Tanka
Browns, reds and yellows
a carpet of vibrant fronds
scatter lazily
compose a lyrical theme
swaying to the fall rhythm.
