Ageless nature’s beauty captivates the heart!
Continuing the Valentine Special series, each day of the month, I will highlight a different facet of love in the form of a haiku. Hope you stay with me throughout this month long journey with all your support and love.
People in true love create pleasant memories together during their lifetime. A break up or death of a partner can make the other partner nostalgic, recalling the good times they spent together as a couple. The lonely partner continues the journey of life, drawing support from the once beautiful relationship they shared often getting emotional.
Wistful tears flow down
nostalgic memories spill
Was just listening to Elvis Presley croon “I can’t help falling in love with you….” aha his magical voice made me fall in love with his voice all over again. I guess, that’s the magic of love. So this gave me an idea to make this February special with love as the flavor of the month.
The shortest, yet the sweetest month of February is most celebrated not only for Valentines day, but also associated with all things beautiful. Be it relationships, gifts, gestures, flowers , chocolates and love in general in its various avatars. So let’s raise a toast to the month, commemorating the spirit of love and togetherness.
“Life without love is like a tree without blossom or fruit” Khalil Gibran!
To infuse the fragrance of this love across the blogosphere, I plan to bring out the myriad layers of love in all its hues. Be it the romantic, maternal or family love, it is an emotion which all want to experience and enjoy.
In this Valentine Special series, each day of the month, I will highlight a different facet of love in the form of a haiku. Hope you stay with me throughout this journey with all your support and love.

Here is my first dedication to love.
heart in euphoric rapture
Attempting twin haiku’s for the prompt.
Your birth opens the
loving window of my heart
souls connect for life!
Windows of my heart
unveil a beautiful life
when you are around!
In response to TJ’s haiku #13, window & heart.
She cut open the seams
her insecurities and pain
that were haunting her
from her dark past.
She put the thimble and needle to work
as she sewed back all the tears and holes
with colourful dreams of hope
and secured it with strength
drawn from her resilient heart.
She tailored a perfect gown
to hide her scarred soul.
Clip not the petals
of a young bud before time
the tender heart bleeds.
