The initial few years of marriage was bliss for Ron and Uma. Slowly Ron got sucked into the virtual web, that he found it impossible to come out of it. Unable to continue a life with him, Uma filed for a divorce on the grounds that he had turned a “technoholic”!

In today’s world, technology has made inroads into every household and is indispensable. While one can’t deny its myriad benefits, to use it wisely is something we need to learn. Like quicksand we are getting sucked into its web, ignoring a life beyond it. In many cases it is taking a toll on our social and personal life. Lets work towards keeping it a boon and before it turns into a bane!

The near fatal accident, changed business honcho Vikram’s life forever. Changing priorities, he decided to enjoy the little things. Grateful that he was still alive, he followed the motto of Live, love, laugh and realized Life is beautiful when you count your blessings!

A pilot for a decade now, this was a routine sortie for Jim. The sudden technical snag led the chopper to nose dive. Experience helped him crash land safely.

The brush with death changed his perspective to life. He started living each day of life to the fullest, with gratitude!

With Sam’s head stuck between the pillars, the entire city thronged there to witness a grueling four hour effort, before he was finally rescued.

Smiling, the next day, he collected a cool 500 $ from his friend, winning the bet, to get his picture published in the newspapers!

Cleaning the garage of their house, Mary stumbled on some old film negatives buried deep under the pile of books. The pictures told a gruesome tale.

Should she confront her husband, go to the police or just let it pass. Her mind was in a turmoil. Finally she made her decision!

First man selected as a tourist to space was finally a reality, after months of preparation. Tension mounting high, I embarked on the voyage. As we settled into the orbit, I started to relax.

The loud blast threw me out, only to realize I had fallen off my bed. End of my dream!

My car broke down, my phone was dead. Stranded in an area away from civilization, I started walking to find help. Suddenly spotted a payphone. I prayed and inserted a coin. Couldn’t believe my luck when I heard the dial tone. But darn…

Her first solo trip abroad, had taught Annie life skills and learning beyond the two decades of formal education.

Missed flight, incessant weather, bitter experience, helpful people, diverse culture, dealing with situations….it was a mixed bag.

She was now ready to take on life!

When Adi introduced his best friend Jai to his bride Uma, they froze.

Recalling their chance meeting on a train journey where their eyes and heart embraced but  their words remained shy and muted. If only they gave their emotions a voice then, today would be a different story.
