  1. What a lovely poem and I so agree with it. As someone who works in the city (in Melbourne, Australia), people are always bustling here and there on weekdays, always so busy. I find myself rushing to work too… But on my lunch break I like to pause and sit outside to eat my lunch of have a short walk 🙂 Lovely photos of your city. That green bird looks shy and does not want to look at the camera 😀

    1. Thanks so much Mabel for stopping by. Glad that you enjoy your lunch outdoors. Shuttling between work and home, stealing a few moments to enjoy the natural surroundings makes our mundane life more beautiful!! And yes, that green parrot was totally camera shy 😉😉

      1. Haha, I enjoy my lunch outdoors when it is sunny – but not windy. It has been quite windy here in Melbourne over the last few months, making it hard to enjoy my lunch out side! Maybe if you make friends with the parrot, he will pose for you 😉

      2. Well I am sure sunshine will grace your city soon. With regards to making friends with the parrot, the pic was taken at my old apartment. Here I have plenty of pegions and sparrows. Maybe I should get them to pose for me😁

  2. There is nature all around us, even in highly urbanized areas, we just need to ‘open our eyes and heart in order to see and fell it’ as you say.
Very nicely-written Radhika. I remember writing about appreciating the existing ‘nature’ all around us before and why we don’t need to go someplace else far in order to truly enjoy it. Nature is all around. We just need to take some time to pause to observe and appreciate it. We’ll be amazed how nature adapts to its surroundings; thriving as we (human beings) are.
Gorgeous photos you’ve got too 🙂

  3. Good morning, Radhika! Your words are a beautiful respite in this noisy world. This reminds me of
A little quote that I have written in bold and is stuck onto my dressing table, ‘ In the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul’.
    Lovely, Radhika! Happy Sunday!

  4. There were two roads leading to the destiny, I took the one less travelled by and that made the difference.
I totally second these thoughts by FROST.
We always shall take the challenge to enhance our capability and nature is the first and foremost guide to lead us to the destiny.
