Day #11 – **Theme : Kaleidoscope of thoughts**
Isn’t it ironical that,
We pay exorbitant prices at the mall,
but haggle with the roadside vendors!
That actors are treated as demigods,
But the brave soldiers die unnoticed!
Our family loves us the most,
Yet we hurt them so often!
Grades define one’s intelligence,
But his knowledge hardly matters!
All come forward to take credit,
But none to take on the blame!
We readily donate for religious cause,
But think twice before donating for charity!
People define success by material affluence,
But turn a blind eye to emotional wealth!
Physical beauty is considered an asset,
But divinity within is overlooked!
This is beautiful in its wisdom. This is the heart of Radha. I am goin to tweet it.

Life is always beautiful. But these ironies help us introspect. Once we learn to overcome this attitude of ours, I am sure life will be even more beautiful 🙂 . Thanks Masoom. A good day to you!

Life’s imperfections…sometimes are reflected as ironies! But when highlighted like the way you have done it, makes one introspect!
Indeed a good read!

Great thoughts. Can you please have a word with Alanis, the singer, and let her know what irony is? Thank you.

Absolutely! We need to set our preferences where they really matter.

Unfortunately, very few of us are able to do that!

We have to begin somewhere and try to convince others to understand what compassion really means.

Not sure if it’s ironic or just a bit sad and depressing, but so true whatever you call it! Nice work.

i marvel at the simplicity of your lines. Simplicity has its beauty in its inception and that is truth. When we say it is truly beautiful and touching, we experience the truth in these few lines of simplicity.
I wish the world was more simple to experience.
With moist eyes for a blog which is beautiful, simple and……TRUE,
