Colors of Hope!

ic: Sadje

The once happy cumulus, lay defeated

eclipsed by the brooding cloak of grey,

casting a pale ebony reflection

on the sedated waters.

The tone of the dusky sky

forebode whispers of despondency.

The distant peaks, stood a mute witness

watching in anguish, in sheer helplessness.

The winds of change blow across,

obligate the smoky clouds to shrivel,

unravel a sliver of dazzle hidden behind

smiling with colors of hope.

      1. All’s well that ends well. Thanks a lot dear. I’m fine. I was on a break. I got married in January. Things turned a little bit hectic with planning a wedding while I was out of state. I have written about all of that in my comeback post. 🙂
I’m still going to office daily so I’m being extremely careful. I hope you and yours are safe and well. Take care.

  1. Wow there is so much beauty in your poem Radhika as we travel the dark sky. Grey is the new bright yellow they say in our modern world. and your just jowed us the glimmer of hope. Excellent👏👏👏👏👏❤️
