Tanka – Ghost & Haunt

The shadowy ghosts

haunt me on the moonless night

fear clogs the mind

the nightmares overpower sleep

sanity lost and entombed!

It still does to me, but not necessarily on moonless nights. Just getting stuck in the depth of darkness in my home is reason enough for my mind to start questioning me about the many secrets that the dark houses. As always, beautifully written my best poet!

During my childhood, I used to imagine all kinds of monsters on the wall, thanks to the tree’s shadows falling on them! I used to have a tough time falling asleep 😉😉

I suppose we all did. Even shadows did that. You see we had only our wild imagination to keep us company and not the bright light from the tablet or the phone.
