In response to Kat’s twittering tale # 134, to write a tale in 280 letters or less on the given prompt.
They had celebrated their silver jubilee anniversary recently, and were an example of a perfect couple still in love.
Her recent death had left him shattered. While clearing her closet, he found a bundle of love letters.
Did he really know her, after all those years together?
Letter count 278
Letters always give a real picture of mind…which becomes unknown to his/her partner. Nice but sad love story…

Thanks so much Yasmin for those kind words of encouragement. I am truly humbled 🙏.
Generally I like to leave the story at a point where endless possibilities can take it forward…… 😀

Grandma’s love letters. You won’t find a treasure trove of emails, lovingly tied with an old piece of string, or a cache of text messages kept for eternity in a battered file, nor WhatsApp exchanges carefully folded in a scented drawer. I know now, grandma, the pen is always mightier than the web.
