In response to secretkeeper’s weekly writing prompt #123. The challenge is to use the 5 words below in a poem or fiction. This is the first time I am trying a Nonet.
(Nonet (9 – 8 – 7 – 6 – 5 – 4 – 3 – 2 – 1) progression downward of syllables)
SUN|BOOK|ACT|STAND|WAR
War and terror reign supreme today
barbarous acts tarnish life
books painted with violent blood
the sun stands a witness
to a shriveled world
consumed by hate,
I, me, mine
evicts
love!
nice one radhika….:)
