Wispy wanderers whisper
Coy crimson crushes,
Nimbus nail negotiations,
Stygian squabbled sopranos,
Pristine persona pacifies.
Ah, the myriad nuances of the
Cumulus celestial conversations
of clouds and its moods,
can only be appreciated
by a true nature lover!

Beautiful imagery Radhika. These day the sky and the clouds are the best entertainers 🙂

The killing alliterations. The wordplay. Awesome read. Love it.
True that is. Only a nature lover can hear whispering.

Thanks so much Kritika. Yesterday, watching them, I could feel a narrative as they drifted along the blue skies. 😊

If it was not a challenge of 38 words, i am sure the melody would have flown like caramel.
Nevertheless the soul is as sweet as nectar.
38 words….and still so meaningful. Applause.

Love your lyrical interpretation! Coincidentally, I was just reading Rachel Carson’s tv script on Clouds written in 1957 before stumbling on yours. What a ‘celestial’ treat!
