Bless! Radhika, so much in these few lines, beautifully capturing the heartache of a child leaving home! She does right to leave the words on the wall – they will help to get her through the days!

It’s a mixed bag of emotions a parent feels, when their once little child has today taken wings and soared into the open skies to carve an identity for himself/ herself.
Thanks a lot Annika!

Brilliant emotions portrayed in a few lines, Radhika. That is what a mother feels when her daughter goes to her husband’s house. The painting was superb.

We were getting ready to paint the living room. I cried when I saw my daughter’s tear stains on the wall in the corner where she used to do time-outs. She was a very well-behaved child and was seldom given a time-out. ❤ Thank you for this lovely poem that brings back memories! Have a great weekend, Radhika!

Cheryl, it’s an emotion which all mother’s go through. We just hold on to the precious reminders to feel them in their absence. Thanks so much dear Cheryl. Have a lovely day!❤️

That’s a powerful piece of flash fiction. Could have so many ways to think of the ending, whether it be happy or sad. Nice!

Aw, I wish I had that wall! I have so many things saved from when my kids were little. I can’t get rid of my son’s though, it is all I have left.

I know, its very difficult to let go of them. I have all their scribbles, greeting cards they made when they were little, their kindergarten books where they wrote their first alphabets…❤️
Thanks for stopping by!!
