Away from the realms of the mundane
I tread beyond the path untraveled
to be surprised by magnificence extraordinaire.
Kaleidoscopic splendor greets my weary eyes
clouds weave a lyrical tapestry around serrated peaks
the winds sing ballads through the willows.
Amidst the tranquil canvas of serenity
sitting in silent reflective solitude,
I hear, the heartbeat of mother earth!
Transient horizon paints
Tender tales of eventide
Tangerine strokes blend with indigo
Tease the heaven’s dreamy allure
Tacit zephyr wafts an ethereal fragrance
Tranquil mysticism embraces the lilac peaks
Twilight showers a starry mist.
Thanks to Aashi, learnt a new style of poetry today, Pleiades. It has only one word in the title followed by a seven line stanza. The first word of each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hope you enjoyed it!
A place in the world, my utopian dream
a quaint cottage, on a carpet of green
cradled in the morning mist
the ears drench in the gurgling brook’s melody,
the vibrant blooms , the swaying trees
meandering butterflies, the chirpy birds
all reside in my friendly neighbourhood.
The idyllic surroundings weave a sublime image
a warm confluence of nature’s grandiose
the soul opens the door to usher in a halcyon aura
of bountiful peace and tranquillity!

In the lap of the tranquil nature
silence embraces , peace descends
thoughts echo the connect with the soul
solitude opens the inner door
the reflective mind transcends
into the cosmic realm
to experience a spiritual trance!
The ripples created by the hectic pace,
on the run routine, saps the energy
of the tired and overworked mind,
its time for a recharge!
Heading amidst the lap of nature
resting the fatigued body and mind
the boundless sky, meandering clouds,
tranquil waters, azure horizon,
all work in tandem to
infuse serene concoctions into the soul
the worries quietly seep out and
unbounded peace flows within!
